A Knight’s Tale

A decision-driven roguelike for desktop, built in Godot. A knight wakes on the roadside with no memory, and the small choices he makes on the road quietly shape who he becomes.

Who it is for

Players who enjoy roguelikes and character building, where the story of a campaign comes from their own decisions rather than a fixed path.

What it does

  • Choices that build a character

Small, everyday decisions accumulate into a build. One skill point per level decides which emerging talent he masters.

  • Real-time battles

The whole squad fights at once on a generated battlefield. Walk with the keyboard and swing at what is in front of you: no turns, no waiting.

  • A squad of four

A hound, a recruit, a panther and a princess join along the way. Whoever falls in a fight is gone for good.

  • Evenings at camp

Each night has a few hours, and every choice at camp costs one. You cannot do everything, so the camp is a decision too.

  • A campaign without a fixed length

Seasons pass on a calendar, and the campaign ends when the kingdom is retaken.
